- Hidden Villa: This is hidden villa in Los Altos Hills. $5 for the parking feel. It is just like our back yard. So close by but isolated. It has the creek trail for younger kids and hiking trails for me now, organic vegetable fields and animals around.
- Slide Ranch: This is Auntie Wendy's favorite farm. It has the greatest view to the pacific ocean, vegetables and live animals.
Where to GO in Bay Area with Little People? Garden
GARDEN
- Filoli Garden: Breath-taking in Spring time when we went there once. Have heard about it's pretty in Thanksgiving time. It was the scene shot for "Dynasty" TV drama.
- Elizabeth Gamble Garden: This is where Auntie Anne's and Uncle Johnny's wedding. In the heart of Palo Alto, and so many year-end events there.
- Allied Art Guild: Mommi's favorite Garden. So pretty in Fall with foliage.
Of course, Golden Gate Park and Stanford University are good in landscape too.
Where to GO in Bay Area with Little People? Museum
Be honest, Mommi definitely is not the perfect person who could recommend fun places for little people like me and MiMi. Mommi just shares about what she knows, and wants to discover more from anyone.
MUSEUM
- Bay Area Discovery Museum: This owns the best view of the golden gate bridge from Fort Baker. Very very fun for kids between 2-5. I made my first ginger bread house there and had the Halloween Event while I was 4.
New Year Revolution - Hiking in the Elephant Mountain
It has been 2 years since my 3 year-old birthday party in Hidden Villa. Mommi took us to go on 2.3-mile trail, and had the santa clara valley view while we got on the top of the Elephant Mountain. The weather was super nice, and we enjoyed Winter sun shine in the garden. Auntie Cathy and Uncel Darrel right now are cooking live crabs for the dinner in our apt kitchen by mimicing the best sea food flavor from "Boiling Crab". It is the end of our holiday, and we will start a brand new year 2010 tomorrow.
This year of X'mas due to the house construction, Mommi and Daddi decided not to go anywhere but stay locally. Hope the house will be done soon, and we could travel again.
